Clingy eight month old

Ahhh! My eight month old DD cries (read: screams so loud everyone thinks she is dying!) whenever I leave the room, even if DH is holding her. She is such a clingy mommy's girl. Is this just a phase? Please tell me it is!!

I SURE HOPE SO because my little one is almost 6 months old and since she was 4 months old she has been doing the same thing. It's wearing on my nerves. Seriously. I need her to get over it. I'm sure it will pass! (It did with the first but while you're in it, it feels like FOREVER!)
